I built GLZD because I kept stealing my girlfriend's lotion.

Not because I loved it.

Most of it smelled boring, felt greasy, and wasn't made for me.

But I didn't want my skin to crack, didn't want to age myself, didn't want to walk around looking dry. So I'd grab whatever was on her side of the counter and live with it.

The men's aisle wasn't an option. Every time I went looking, I found the same thing: harsh formulas, generic scents, packaging built to compete on a drugstore shelf. Nothing felt premium.

Nothing felt like it was made for a guy who actually cares about how he shows up.

Eventually, I got tired of borrowing.

I've spent the last 14 years building beauty products — formulation, sourcing, branding, packaging, supply chain — and 20 years building e-commerce businesses behind them.

Most of that work has been for women. I've built brands, launched product lines, shipped tens of thousands of orders. But I've never made something I personally use every day.

GLZD is the first one.

The Product

Body glaze isn't lotion.

It isn't body oil.

It's a water-free formula built on plant-derived oils, beeswax, and mango butter — designed to absorb in seconds, create a barrier against the elements, and finish your skin with a subtle glisten that catches light without ever looking shiny.

Eight ingredients. No water, no parabens, no dyes, no mica, no fillers. Squalane for absorption. Mango butter for moisture. Beeswax for the finish. The rest are clean carrier oils that round out the formula and make it work.

It's the balance I couldn't find on a shelf: a barrier between you and the elements, a scent that lingers in the right way, and a glisten that brings out the work you've already put in at the gym.
